Monday May 29th 9am-6pm - break for lunch
This class explores the use of lace in millinery. Students will learn how to design with pattern over the face and head, and experiment with complex outlines. A variety of strategies will be explored including stiffening, wiring, draping and sculpting, piecing together, and applique.
If time permits, further embellishment such as hot fix crystals will be applied. These techniques create beautiful airy 3D pieces, suitable for races, evening or bridal.
